Milk Glass Lamps and Buffet Cabinet

I found these old milk glass lamps at Goodwill last weekend. I've seen milk glass lamps lik those being posted by fellow bloggers and they were having a store wide sale. Everything in the store were 50% off so when I saw a guy at the Goodwill was just putting out those lamps on the shelve, I just grabbed them as fast as I could and then I checked the price. They were $7.98 each. WOW! 50% off from $7.98 is less than $4.00 right? You can't beat that!!!So I got them all!!!

I know exactly what I'm going to do with those lamps. Just wait and see! :D

Okay, so my son and I were on our way to the market last Sunday and I saw a huge garage sale. So I decided to stop by for a quick look. As soon as I was getting out of my car, something caught my eye. It was that buffet cabinet. I asked the lady who was having a garage sale the price of that buffet cabinet. She said it was $80.00. I thought $80.00 was not so bad, but I wasn't really looking for a buffet cabinet so I didn't want to spend $80.00. So I just walked away, then she said $70.00! I didn't respond, then she said $60.00! I still didn't respond to her. Finally, she said $50.00!! I said it's sold!!

Milk Glass - it does a body good. That's how it goes, right? *grin* Super win on both the milk glass lamps and buffet. I'm going to send you pictures of my friend's "not too shabby" guest room in the courier tomorrow. Enjoy! :)

Oh, my goodness!!! First of all, the milk glass. There are lamps for sale like that at my local consignment shop, but they want $30 for them. I actually picked up a couple of pieces there yesterday including a vase I've been looking for. You just reminded me that I forgot them in the car. And that cabinet ... what a deal!

Great deals! Can't wait to see what you are going to do. Are you going to paint the cabinet or leave it as is?

Thank you everyone for the comments!
I don't know Tracy, what do you think? The cabinet is in good condition, but I like shabby chic these days. This cabinet would have been perfect(as is) when i used to decorate my house country.
Please help me!

WOW you found some great bargains! Lucky you for getting both of them. I love the milk glass lamps myself but don't own one. I'd like to have one to go in my guest room. And the buffet is gorgeous....now seeing your home I bet that your going to paint it white right?
