Chandelier Makeover

I have been searching for the right chandelier for my dining room over a year and I'm so pleased with what I got!

A few weeks ago, my friend Daisy saw this chandelier at local thrift store and told me about it. I then rushed to the store next day and bought it for $14.99. I immediately drilled holes for hanging prisms, but i wasn't able to complete the project and kept putting it off until last weekend. My goal last weekend was to complete some of my unfinished projects and I actually accomplished a lot!!! I am most excited about this chandelier makeover...over the weekend!!

I have to say I love my chandelier!!!...

Wow, Suzie-- That's incredible! You are so talented! I have never been very crafty, so I am in awe of how you turned a thrift-store find into a gorgeous signature piece for your home! Drilling holes, no less! It's beautiful. And SO nice to actually get some projects finished, isn't it a great feeling? I finally got our bedroom and closet unpacked and organized over the weekend.

Oh My!, this is amazing! I have seen alot of awful chandeliers for sale very cheap but always walk away - I never imagined you could do this with one of them! You are a very talented lady and have inspired me! Thank you so much for this post, it is wonderful. I love your chandelier so much!! It is beautiful!

{ps - may I ask where you got your hanging prisms from - I am in Oz but if I know what to look for I may be able to find some online, thanks}

Suzie - your living room is a snowy white winter wonderland of shabby chic. The chandelier is beautiful. I love the doves. :D Good job!

Suzie,
I love your chandelier! I would like a small one for my guest room, but they're so expensive at the stores or online. I'll be looking for one to revamp. Did you get a good buy for the crystals as well?
